Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical/Tele unit coverage at a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have recent trauma experience, strong clinical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including PCCs and other nurses, to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Assist during high-acuity situations, including trauma cases, adhering to hospital protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the applicable state or a compact license compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a trauma, hospital, or acute care setting.
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required; 3+ years preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic electronic health record system preferred.
• Comfortable working in a Level I Trauma Center environment with team nursing ratios around 1:7.
• Ability to work day shifts (4x12 hours) with on-call and weekend rotation availability.
