Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide patient care within a MedSurg/Tele Float Pool unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to various inpatient units.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions across multiple units.
• Titrate medications and manage set-rate drips such as heparin, insulin, and other cardiac or vasoactive drugs.
• Interpret telemetry strips accurately and respond to cardiac rhythm changes.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and respiratory therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Follow all unit protocols for respiratory equipment management, including CPAP and BiPAP devices.
• Adhere to shift schedules, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on flexibility and team coordination.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrated experience in Acute MedSurg/Telemetry nursing, with proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Ability to manage or quickly learn to titrate drips such as heparin, insulin, or nitroglycerin.
• Strong assessment and communication skills in fast-paced inpatient settings.
• Willingness to float to multiple units within the float pool.
• Capable of working 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.
