Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled RN for MedSurg/Tele Float Pool to provide high-quality patient care across multiple units. The role involves floating to various departments, managing diverse clinical cases, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diagnoses such as CHF, pneumonia, COPD, cardiac conditions, ortho, and oncology.
• Administer medications, including titrating drips like Heparin, insulin, and Nitro, and manage set rate cardiac gtts such as Amio, Dopamine, and Dobutamine.
• Read and interpret cardiac strips, ensuring accurate assessment of rhythm and patient status.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and CNAs to ensure smooth unit operations and patient safety.
• Manage respiratory equipment including CPAP and BiPAP, and collaborate with RTs for respiratory treatments.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with medical teams.

Qualifications:

• Possess current RN licensure with at least 1 year of MedSurg/Tele experience.
• Hold active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and tiering of drips.
• Capable of managing telemetry monitors and interpreting strip readings.
• Willing to float across multiple units and work every-other-weekend shifts.
• Ability to pass a cardiac rhythm exam and work within specified patient ratios.
