Job Summary:
Provide specialized pediatric nursing care within a high-acuity, Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke, and neonatal intensive care environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient-centered care to pediatric populations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor pediatric patients’ health status, promptly identifying changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to infection control policies and promote a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in North Carolina or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatric or medical-surgical settings.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond effectively to pediatric emergencies.
• BLS and PALS certification required.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work 13-week travel assignments with flexibility in scheduling.
