Job Summary:
Provide specialized pediatric nursing care for a 19-bed unit focused on general pediatrics and oncology. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes through skilled clinical assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pediatric nursing care, including medication administration and IV therapy, following established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the EMR system.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
• Support families and patients with compassionate, family-centered care and education.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience.
• Current PALS and BLS certifications.
• Experience in pediatric oncology preferred or on the unit acclimatization.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
