Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized orthopedic nursing care for patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries or treatments. Ensure optimal patient outcomes through clinical expertise and compassionate support.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients pre- and post-operatively to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and detect signs of complications.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care, mobility, and rehabilitation.
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of orthopedic nursing experience.
• Proven proficiency in orthopedic surgical procedures and patient management.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced healthcare settings.
