Job Summary:
Perform laboratory testing and analysis as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), ensuring accurate and timely results to support patient care. The role involves working in a fast-paced hospital environment with a focus on point-of-care testing and clerical duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical lab procedures including point-of-care testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform clerical tasks to support laboratory operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards during testing.
• Collaborate with nursing and lab staff to ensure optimal workflow.
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating to different areas within the lab as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active, full license as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent.
• Be certified through ASCP or a recognized certifying agency.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in point-of-care testing procedures.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
