Job Summary:
Seeking a highly qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the ER Laboratory team at a reputable facility. The candidate will perform clinical laboratory testing, support point of care testing, and assist with clerical tasks to ensure smooth laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests following established procedures.
• Perform point of care testing accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with nursing and lab staff to support overall FSED operations.
• Complete clerical duties, including data entry and report management as assigned.
• Adhere to unit policies, protocols, and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid ASCP certification as MLS, CLS, or Medical Technologist required.
• Must hold a full, unrestricted license; associate licenses are not accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of point of care testing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
