Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery unit at a leading hospital. The RN will provide compassionate, expert care to expectant mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health status before, during, and after delivery.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, prepare patients for procedures, and assist during labor and delivery.
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the birthing process.
• Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by following hospital policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and meet state licensure requirements.
• Possess at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including high-risk cases.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of fetal monitoring and obstetric procedures.
• Have current NRP and BLS/ALS certifications.
• Exhibit excellent communication, adaptability, and patient-focused care skills.
• Circulating experience is preferred.
