Job Summary:

The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for monitoring and assessing patients with cardiac conditions, ensuring timely intervention and optimal patient care. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to provide accurate data and respond to patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and vital signs continuously using telemetry equipment.
• Interpret ECG data and identify abnormal patterns requiring intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Document clinical observations and communicate findings to healthcare providers.
• Respond promptly to cardiac alarms and emergencies to stabilize patients.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with in-unit telemetry certification or relevant experience.
• Proven experience in telemetry or cardiac inpatient care.
• Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and ECG interpretation.
• Excellent critical thinking and ability to react swiftly in emergencies.
• Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
