Job Summary:
The Telemetry Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment. The role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs to identify arrhythmias or other cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and response to treatments accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and changes in patient status, providing immediate intervention.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in telemetry or cardiac care nursing.
• Strong understanding of cardiac monitoring equipment and interpretation of rhythms.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
