Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. Ensures patient safety, monitors health status, and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and therapies using Omnicell systems accurately.
• Document patient care and clinical observations in EPIC EMR efficiently.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Float between units as needed, demonstrating proficiency in MS/Tele skills.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, including EKG interpretation.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with certifications and certifications renewal.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry setting.
• Strong proficiency with EPIC EMR and Omnicell medication systems.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Ability to pass an EKG exam and demonstrate competency in MS/Tele.
• Must have valid SC RN license or eligible for reciprocity.
