Job Summary:

The Medical Surgical/Tele RN is responsible for providing direct patient care in a short-term acute care hospital setting. This role requires delivering quality nursing services to medical-surgical and telemetry patients during night shifts, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses.
• Interpret telemetry data and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Complete all required documentation accurately in the electronic charting system.
• Attend staff meetings and complete assigned modules prior to start date.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including recent Med/Surg experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification; NIH certification required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
• Ability to float within scope to similar units and facilities.
• Successful completion of all onboarding modules before start date.
