Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The role involves acute care responsibilities, charting in EPIC, and floating within skillsets as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Chart patient observations and interventions accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
• Respond to emergencies, interpret cardiac rhythms, and activate Rapid Response or Code teams as necessary.
• Administer IV therapy, manage peripheral lines, and support non-invasive airway management.
• Float within assigned skillsets to different units as required.
• Follow infection control protocols and isolation procedures diligently.

Qualifications:

• Possess active NY RN license (no compact license accepted).
• Have a minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Hold current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and emergency response.
• Ability to work 7p-7a shifts, including every other weekend and holiday as needed.
• Able to provide charting and documentation in EPIC efficiently.
