Job Summary:
Responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Ensures specimen integrity, quality control, and adherence to laboratory protocols in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and receive specimens including blood, urine, fecal, and body fluids for analysis.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot issues related to specimen collection and processing across all age groups.
• Participate in the evaluation of new techniques, procedures, and equipment, contributing to laboratory development.
• Perform complex testing procedures, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions using scientific principles.
• Review quality control data, assess results, and maintain accuracy and precision standards.
• Respond to inquiries regarding test results, methodologies, and factors affecting test outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate's Degree (for grandfathered personnel).
• Possess CLS or MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent.
• Demonstrate proficiency in laboratory techniques and specimen handling.
• Maintain current knowledge through ongoing competency assessments.
• Ability to evaluate and adapt to new laboratory procedures and technologies.
