Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Lab Generalist with proficiency in Epic EMR for evening shifts, including phlebotomy duties. This role involves processing specimens, performing complex testing, and ensuring laboratory accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and receive specimens across multiple departments, including blood, urine, fecal, and body fluids.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot issues related to specimen collection and processing.
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new techniques, procedures, and equipment in the laboratory.
• Perform complex laboratory tests, analyze results, and identify deviations from expected outcomes.
• Review instrument indicators, temperature monitors, and quality control data to maintain optimal lab performance.
• Maintain self-competency in laboratory skills and stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree for grandfathered personnel.
• Possess CLS or MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Epic EMR.
• Be capable of performing phlebotomy and complex laboratory procedures.
• Willingness to accept possible call duties.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
