Job Summary:
Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry setting during night shifts, ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires experienced nurses with current licensure and certifications to meet facility standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs for patients in the Med/Surg Tele department.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms, escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding compliance, safety, and infection control standards.
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules, recording hours via Silkroad.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or compact license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Demonstrate active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Provide a recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the last 12 months.
• Be nicotine-free with a negative drug screen within the past 12 months, excluding nurses and CSTs.
