Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting. Responsible for ensuring patient safety, administering medications, and coordinating patient care across various units.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Document patient assessments and clinical interventions accurately.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or Compact state nursing license in hand at time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent and continuous Med/Surg Tele experience.
• Active and current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Proven ability to recognize and interpret ECG rhythms and perform safe medication administration.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
