Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during a 20-week assignment, with an option for a 13-week schedule. Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, and managing acute medical conditions within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately and respond accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.
• Complete required assessments and pass skills evaluations during orientation.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent and relevant perm experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
• Have current BLS and ACLS certifications, with NIHSS willingness to obtain prior to start.
• Provide at least one recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments successfully during onboarding.
• Be willing to comply with all travel and background check requirements.
