Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in a Level 1 NICU unit. The ideal candidate will provide critical respiratory care to neonatal patients, ensuring safety and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced respiratory treatments, including breathing treatments and ventilator management.
• Conduct thorough respiratory assessments, including ventilator and breathing evaluations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Operate and troubleshoot sophisticated equipment such as Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in the EMR system.
• Adhere to all unit policies, safety standards, and clinical guidelines to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Respiratory Therapist license with a minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Demonstrated experience in NICU or pediatric critical care settings preferred.
• Ability to perform complex respiratory procedures with high energy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to adapt to new equipment and technology.
