Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive emergency behavioral health nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and coordinate treatment to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients upon arrival to determine their mental health and medical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage acute behavioral health crises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individual care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and coping strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of emergency or behavioral health experience.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in high-pressure environments.
• Proven ability to manage behavioral health emergencies effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to work 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM shifts, 13-week assignment.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
