Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital unit. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing multiple patients with complex needs through effective assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor telemetry data to ensure patient safety and accurate reporting.
• Manage 6-7 patients per shift, prioritizing care needs and responding swiftly to changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform procedures such as wound vacs, tube feeds, and medication administration.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience.
• Strong competency in telemetry monitoring and management of complex patients.
• Ability to handle urology and bowel patient populations effectively.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Excellent communication skills and positive, engaging demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with energetic team collaboration.
