Job Summary:
Responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Stepdown (PCU) unit, focusing on patients requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. The position demands clinical expertise and compassion to support patient recovery and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities meticulously in medical records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent PCU or IMC experience.
• Proven ability to manage critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of telemetry, IV therapy, and cardiac monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
