Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through skilled interventions and compassionate support. Manages acute and stable patients with a focus on telemetry and advanced monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Administer targeted nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown settings.
• Monitor patient vital signs, electrocardiograms, and telemetry data to detect early signs of deterioration.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Implement wound care procedures and assist with specific treatments such as BiPAP, Vapotherm, and Baxter Pumps.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including NIHSS, BLS, and ALS certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid RN license and active certifications in BLS and ALS.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in acute care, telemetry, or stepdown units.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring, wound care, and emergency procedures.
• Show strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Be flexible with scheduling, including rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
