Job Summary:


Surgical Tech support for orthopedic cases, with a focus on spine procedures and robotic-assisted MAKO knee and hip workflows. Ensures efficient, sterile setup and instrument management to support safe, high-quality operative care.



Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical field setups for orthopedic procedures, including spine and lower-extremity cases.
  
• Assist the surgical team by anticipating instrument and supply needs throughout the procedure.
  
• Perform proper instrument handling, counts, and contamination control to support patient safety.
  
• Support MAKO-assisted knee and hip procedures by ensuring readiness of related equipment and components.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with case turnover and supply restocking.
  
• Remain flexible to variable start times and potential on-call requirements as needed.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a current Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
  
• Demonstrate strong orthopedic surgical experience, including spine cases.
  
• Have hands-on MAKO knee and hip experience.
  
• Exhibit solid aseptic technique and strong sterile processing awareness in the OR environment.
  
• Possess the ability to work effectively under time-sensitive, procedural demands.
  
• Communicate clearly with surgeons and perioperative team members during cases.
