Job Summary:

The Ortho/OR Robotic Tech provides technical support for robotic orthopedic procedures, assisting the surgical team with setup, instrumentation readiness, and intraoperative workflow. This role supports spine and robotic knee/hip cases and ensures equipment readiness and compliance with perioperative standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, set up, and verify robotic surgical equipment and orthopedic instruments prior to procedures.
• Assist surgeons during robotic-assisted spine, knee, and hip cases by managing technical workflow needs.
• Maintain sterilization and aseptic practices for all applicable instruments and components.
• Monitor equipment functionality and troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Support case readiness by organizing supplies, confirming availability of specialty instrumentation, and documenting key checks.
• Adhere to established safety, quality, and infection prevention protocols throughout the perioperative environment.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate experience in robotic orthopedic procedures, including Mako knee and hip procedures.
• Demonstrate spine surgical experience with familiarity of spine case workflows and instruments.
• Hold relevant OR/medical technology credentialing (as applicable) and maintain required competencies.
• Show strong knowledge of sterile processing concepts and aseptic technique in an OR setting.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing teams in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Display the ability to support variable start times and participate in on-call coverage (including weekends).
