Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units, ensuring patient safety and optimal health outcomes. This role involves monitoring, assessing, and managing patient conditions in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols
• Monitor ECG rhythms and recognize abnormal cardiac patterns
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact State RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing, preferably within one facility or combined experience
• Successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores during orientation
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, active and current
• Demonstrate proficiency in nursing competencies, including telemetry monitoring and medication administration
• Provide two managerial or supervisor references from the past 12 months
