Job Summary:

Provide high-quality inpatient care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients in a hospital setting. Responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and ensuring compliance with all clinical standards during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and deliver bedside nursing care according to established protocols.
• Recognize and respond to abnormal cardiac rhythms and critical patient changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage patient safety during the shift.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Comply with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies, including holiday rotations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Possess a current Ohio or Compact State license in hand at the time of submission.
• Maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications without pending issues.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac rhythm recognition and medication safety.
• Provide at least one recent supervisor or managerial reference within the specialty.
