Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in Medical Surgical/Tele specialty provides compassionate and proficient nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting. This role involves performing assessments, implementing treatment plans, and ensuring patient safety during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and recognize ECG rhythms accurately.
• Provide direct patient care, including wound management and post-operative assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and modify care plans.
• Document patient responses and progress in electronic health records precisely.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with all regulatory standards and facility protocols.
• Obtain and verify active certifications such as BLS and ACLS prior to start.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or Compact State license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel.
• Demonstrate proven experience in a similar specialty within the past 12 months.
• Have at least two recent professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
• Be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start and pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Maintain active certifications with no pending issues.
