Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN provides patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on stabilization, monitoring, and treatment of adult patients with various medical conditions. This role may involve floating to related units to ensure optimal patient outcomes and unit coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Tele environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to changes in patient condition promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments following physicians' orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with hospital standards.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and infection control protocols during patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or Compact State nursing license in hand at submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with active certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication practices.
• Complete a background check, drug screen, and timely fingerprinting.
• Provide a supervisor or manager reference relevant to the specialty.
