Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Telemetry units. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, adhere to facility protocols, and demonstrate clinical excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on Med/Surg Telemetry units, including assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately, responding appropriately to arrhythmias.
• Maintain thorough documentation using Epic charting system, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning.
• Comply with all staffing and safety protocols, including holiday shifts and travel requirements.
• Complete required certifications, assessments, and training before orientation.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio or Compact State nursing license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel.
• Demonstrate current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Have recent (within 6 months) Epic charting experience.
• Provide two recent managerial or supervisory references from the past year.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
