Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a dedicated IR/Special Procedures unit. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing complex interventional and diagnostic procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prepare patients for interventional and special procedures, ensuring all clinical protocols are followed.
• Administer medications and contrast agents as required, monitoring patient responses throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and staff to facilitate smooth and efficient procedures.
• Monitor patient recovery and provide post-procedure care, including assessment and documentation of patient status.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and hospital policies, including patient safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license for GA or a Compact State at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a specialized or high-acuity setting, preferably IR or radiology.
• Demonstrate familiarity with interventional procedures, diagnostic imaging, and patient preparation.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond promptly to emergencies.
• Be willing to float within scope of practice to Cath and EP units as needed.
