Job Summary:

The Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN / Special Procedures RN is responsible for providing specialized nursing care during electrophysiology and other complex procedures. This role requires expertise in supporting cardiac and vascular interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care before, during, and after electrophysiology and special procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intra-procedural changes promptly.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure procedural equipment is properly prepared.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Adhere to safety standards, including BLS and ACLS certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in IR or special procedures settings.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong skills in patient monitoring and procedural support.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
