Job Summary:

Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety, recovery, and well-being during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform clinical assessments to evaluate patient progress.
• Document patient care activities, responses, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including rapid response situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Facilitate patient education on treatments, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license prior to start.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification, with preferred ACLS and NIHSS credentials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic charting and telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to float between units and adapt to changing patient care needs.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
