Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsible for implementing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration and vital sign monitoring.
• Assess patient needs and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive treatment.
• Document patient progress accurately within the Epic system.
• Respond promptly to emergent situations such as rapid response calls.
• Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards to maintain a safe environment.
• Float between similar units or sister facilities as needed to support operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina or Compact nursing license prior to start.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Med/Surg, Telemetry, and insulin administration.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records is preferred.
• Be willing to work 4x12-hour days, dayshift schedule, every other weekend.
