Job Summary:
Seeking an Adult Respiratory Therapist to provide critical respiratory care in a busy teaching hospital setting. The role involves night shifts with potential for floating within scope to meet facility needs, ensuring high-quality patient management in a specialized environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and interventions to adult patients in critical care units.
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory status, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment including ECMO, IABP, and Impella devices.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic charting system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid NBRC RRT certification and SC RCP license in hand prior to start date.
• Possess at least 2 years of adult critical care respiratory therapy experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with advanced respiratory support and equipment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Be willing to work night shifts, weekends, and possibly float within scope.
• Must meet the radius rule of 60 miles or be considered as a local candidate.
