Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care and support to adult and neonatal patients across multiple hospital units. The role involves floating to various departments to ensure optimal patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to adult and neonatal patients.
• Monitor patient respiratory status using various clinical assessments and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care details accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to emergency respiratory situations, including codes and ventilator issues.
• Ensure compliance with all certification, safety, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold active RRT or CRT credential, with at least 2 years of recent experience.
• Possess valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in charting with EPIC or similar EHR systems.
• Be able to work night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend.
• Have the flexibility to float across multiple hospital units including ICU, NICU, PICU, ER, and general med floors.
• Be willing to work on a per diem basis with local travel options accepted.
