Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for critically ill patients in the CVICU. This role involves providing intensive care in a specialized cardiovascular intensive care environment with rotating day and night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer complex patient care to cardiac ICU patients, including invasive procedures and monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Recognize and respond promptly to critical changes in patient conditions.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families on post-ICU care and recovery processes.
• Ensure completion of required certifications and compliance documentation prior to and during assignments.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact state license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent CVICU experience, with prior permanent experience preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications with no pending issues.
• Complete all required background checks and drug screens within specified timeframes.
• Provide one managerial or supervisory reference in the specialty area.
