Job Summary:

Seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses for travel assignments at a prominent hospital. Candidates must demonstrate recent specialized experience and meet all licensing and certification requirements to deliver exceptional patient care in a critical care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the CVICU setting, adhering to hospital protocols and clinical best practices.
• Recognize and interpret various ECG rhythms, utilizing clinical judgment to respond appropriately.
• Complete assessments such as ECG rhythm recognition tests and SafeMedicate during orientation, achieving acceptable scores.
• Maintain active certifications including Ohio or Compact State RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with all certifications current and valid.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Log hours worked through the Qualivis – Lotus system and adhere to compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 18 months of specialized permanent CVICU experience prior to travel.
• Possess an active Ohio license or a valid Compact license at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate recent CVICU travel or permanent experience in the past 18 months.
• Have current certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with no pending certifications.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Satisfy background checks, including BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing.
