Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech provides specialized technical support for cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment and assisting clinical staff. This role is integral to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment during cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians with catheter placements, pacemaker insertions, and other interventional cardiology interventions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by preparing the procedure area and adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient data in the EMR system.
• Support the team by troubleshooting equipment and coordinating patient flow for scheduled procedures.
• Comply with all unit policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including on-call requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GE Innova and MacLab systems.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork, flexibility, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-15 days per month including weekends and holidays.
• Credentialed as a Cath Lab Tech or equivalent healthcare professional.
