Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will provide specialized support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role supports patient care by ensuring equipment functionality and maintaining a safe, efficient lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate cardiovascular procedures such as Left Heart Catheterizations, PCI, Pacemaker insertions, TEE, and Stress Tests.
• Operate and monitor advanced cardiac imaging and diagnostic equipment, including GE Innova and MacLab systems.
• Assist physicians during procedures by preparing the lab, maintaining sterile techniques, and providing necessary tools.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
• Document procedures accurately using Meditech EMR, maintaining detailed and compliant records.
• Maintain readiness of the lab by inspecting equipment, troubleshooting issues, and reporting malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Cardiovascular Technician certification or relevant licensure.
• Possess 1+ year of experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with cardiac diagnostic equipment and invasive procedures.
• Have current BLS and ACLS certifications; CPR certification is preferred.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Be flexible to work 12-15 on-call days per month, including holidays and weekends.
