Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical setting, ensuring high-quality, coordinated care in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and collaborates with nursing staff and other healthcare disciplines to promote patient safety and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status by collecting relevant data and analyzing findings to determine care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with targeted interventions to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Coordinate patient care activities, delegate tasks appropriately, and supervise nursing staff to ensure safe and effective delivery of services.
• Educate patients and families, providing essential health information and supportive resources throughout the care continuum.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless transition and continuity of care.
• Evaluate patient progress regularly and modify care plans as necessary to improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Have at least two years of recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Maintain additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as required.
