Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and recovery. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current CA RN license, uploaded via Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond swiftly to patient needs.
• Able to float as needed and adhere to local travel compliance rules.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
