Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 16-week travel assignment providing holiday coverage. Candidate must be prepared to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Assess patient conditions, establish treatment priorities, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Support team efforts during busy or holiday periods to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license for North Carolina or the appropriate state.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a high-pressure environment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Superior communication and teamwork abilities.
