Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside care and monitor patients' vital signs using telemetry and continuous pulse oximetry.
• Perform procedures such as blood transfusions, IV starts, and central line removals.
• Assess respiratory and cardiac status to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech EMR system.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress codes, including navy blue scrubs.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown settings.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Demonstrated telemetry and cardiovascular assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating engagement and self-motivation.
• Experience handling high fall risk populations preferred.
• Willingness to float to medical-surgical, telemetry, PCU, or ED areas as needed.
