Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing to adult patients in a hospital ICU setting. Deliver compassionate, high-quality care while managing complex patient conditions and support among multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition through ongoing monitoring and detailed evaluations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and protocols.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment such as IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Float across multiple units including ED, ICU, IMCU, and Medical/Surgical units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active NY RN license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Proven ability to manage critically ill patients with diagnoses such as strokes, sepsis, respiratory failure, and neuro interventions.
• Demonstrates proficiency with Epic EMR system.
• Ability to float to various units, including ED and MS, with flexibility in assignments.
