Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room environment, supporting surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. This role requires maintaining compliance with hospital standards and managing pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical technologists during procedures, adhering to sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any intraoperative changes promptly.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the medical records.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Support pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Massachusetts RN license with active certification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating room procedures, scrub, and circulate roles.
• Credentialed in BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be capable of working flexible shifts and handling fast-paced surgical environments.
• Own reliable transportation for assignment requirements.
