Job Summary:
Provides specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Ensures patient safety, Comfort, and proper surgical protocol adherence throughout perioperative phases.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan individualized nursing care for surgical patients based on standards, protocols, and policies.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient well-being and surgical success.
• Maintain sterile techniques and proper handling of all surgical supplies and instruments.
• Monitor patient responses to anesthesia, medications, and surgical interventions, adjusting care as needed.
• Document all clinical activities, patient responses, and procedural details accurately and promptly.
• Verify patient identity, surgical site, and procedure compliance prior to surgery.

Qualifications:

• Earned a degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Possess current MA RN license.
• Ideal candidates will have OR nursing experience and CNOR certification.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Hold an active BLS card and obtain ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
