Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry ward, ensuring clinical excellence and patient safety during night shifts. Responsible for monitoring, assessments, and responding to patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess their conditions regularly.
• Document patient care activities and progress systematically.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate concerns as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 12 months of perm experience in medical-surgical/telemetry nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active and in hand at the time of application.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• One recent manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference in the specialty required.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
