Job Summary:
Seeking a Medical/Surgical Tele RN to provide high-quality patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit. The role may involve float responsibilities to units J1-2, J33, and ED, caring for similar patient populations, including ventilated patients, during winter coverage periods.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care according to established protocols in Med/Surg Tele units.
• Monitor and recognize ECG rhythms, ensuring accurate interpretation and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Adhere to safety standards and facility policies, including completion of required certifications.
• Complete assessments and procedures such as SafeMedicate and ECG rhythm recognition during orientation.
• Ensure compliance with travel and licensing requirements, including timely submission of credentials.

Qualifications:

• Entry of at least 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Tele nursing, preferably within one location.
• Valid PERMANENT Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be current.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Must have at least one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
• Ability to work every other holiday as required.
